The Valentines Day menu, priced at £34.95, includes a glass of Kir Royale and a complimentary light Moroccan meze on arrival and finishes up with deserts, coffee or mint tea.. A small, intimate restaurant, what better setting for a romantic night out?

The Lake Restaurant at St Michaels Manor will set the scene for a night to remember. The Valentines menu, includes a glass of Kir Royale and is complimented by an amuse bouche and a sorbet to activate and freshen the palate between courses. Choose from beef fillet with braised red cabbage, artichoke purée and mushroom ravioli or parmesan gnocchi with cep purée and truffle foam for your mains. The set menu costs £49.50.

If you like the idea of foraging for your supper but just don't have the time, try the Verulam Arms, where nature dictates what's on the menu. The tealights are sure to be lit on Valentines Day!
