A coach trip to see Shrek The Musical is being organised by St Albans ticket agency, Great Tickets, to help raise funds for Bailey Sarwa, a St Albans teenager who is suffering from cancer.
Thirteen year old Bailey, who is a Year 8 pupil at Marlborough School in St Albans, has recently suffered a relapse of neuroblastoma, a rare cancer that affects nerve cells, after nearly seven year's in remission.
Bailey's friends and family have come together to launch the 'Bailey Sarwa Appeal' after he was refused potentially life saving treatment in this country. It is hoped that through various fundraising initiatives that Bailey will be able to receive this further treatment in Germany or the United States.
St Albans business, Great Tickets have secured 100 Top Price Stalls and Grand Circle tickets to see "Shrek The Musical" at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Monday 19th March 2012 for the evening performance, which will start at 7.30pm. The face value of the tickets is £65 but Great Ticket are selling them for £45 and are throwing in free coach travel to and from St Albans. On top of the £20.00 saving on each ticket, and the free coach travel to and from St Albans (for those who wish to use it), for every ticket sold Great Tickets will give £10.00 out of the £45.00 price towards the Bailey Sarwa Appeal fund - if all 100 tickets are sold that would raise £1,000.00. Even if you are not able to use the free coach option the saving of £20.00 per ticket is still a very good offer.
Shrek The Musical is a fun and lively show, suitable for ages 5 and up. The show has got great reviews, which include the Sunday Telegraph's: 'SHREKTACULAR. A GREAT SHOW FOR ALL THE FAMILY'.
