I've been back to the Secret Garden Cafe and tried out their heated marquee. Whilst it took a little while to warm up, once the heater's got going it was very comfortable to sit outside and sip a latte. I must admit I kept my coat on but I enjoyed the novelty of a cuppa outside in January!

I love the Secret Garden Cafe for it's range of good sandwiches, soups, shakes, smoothies and coffee. The homemade food is good quality, tasty and filling. In summer it's lovely to sit in the courtyard garden, away from it all and feeling like you're off the beaten track, although you're only steps away from George Street. I noticed they have a heated marquee in the garden for winter, which I'll be tempted to try out.
although this is not the cheapest option for lunch, it is a lovely place. the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the meatball panini is amazing.
sit outside in the sun and enjoy a drink or get lunch to takeaway. if it was slightly cheaper i would be there everyday
