Hi everyone!

I am thinking of opening a cafe-restaurant soon in St Albans.
It will be mediterranean style, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I am thinking of choosing Delice de France as my main bakery supplier, so I will be using most of their pastries including croissants as well as their bread and cakes.

What do you think about the quality and taste of their products? And do you think they are good enough to be used in a cafe/restaurant?
I would really appreciate your thoughts as it will help me decide whether to go for them or not.

I like the taste of Delice de France products but have to say I associate them with convenience stores. The croissants I've had are on the small side and I would be a bit disappointed to get one that size in a cafe. But perhaps they are available in different sizes? Also, sometimes the pain au raisins can be a bit flat, which again I wouldn't be best pleased with in a cafe. Hope those comments are useful to you.

Do you have FB & G+ pages and a Twitter account? If not I'd suggest that you get them setup and update them on a regular basis.

Another selling point is free wifi.

Also consider your musical play list and what you play depending on the day and time of day. Highly underrated and adds to the atmosphere of a place if you can get it just right.

If you don't already have one then perhaps a wall mounted TV for the morning news and music channels etc.....

Constantly innovate and update the social media aspects and the menu and fingers crossed you'll survive.

    Good luck :)
