The Greens have upped the stakes in the forthcoming local elections (May 6) with a campaign video - tinyurl.com/ydsbe4k - urging voters to vote Green in the local elections, whatever they decide to do in the General Election, which is almost certainly going to be on the same day. One interesting fact: about 5000 residents in the district are not UK citizens. As such, they are not allowed to vote in the general election, but can vote in the local election. So they could help to make a significant difference in the outcome of the two polls.
