Can anyone help me out with regards to information if this restaurant is still open? I have struggled to find it having recently moved to St Albans. Website loks great but phone number is not working.

It closed down about 18 months or so ago. being a sushi addict, I now have to travel out of town to get my fix! If you're in desperate need, get on the Thameslink to West Hampstead and pop to Sushi Gen there! Out of the station to the main road and turn left. It's about 200 yards up on the right.

I love sushi too, and one of the first things I checked when I moved to St A last year was whether it's possible to get any here. Shame not :(
There's also yo sushi at st pancras if you're going all the way there!

I heard that Hanako was ok in Watford if you weren't in a rush. Any view on that?

I've not heard of Hanako. Failing that and all of the above options, you could make it yourself. The fishmonger at Waitrose will give you a steer or try tinyurl.com/yzamon9 in Chorleywood.
