Is there any kind of list of playgroups in St Albans? Perhaps we could communally put one together? My wife and I take our nipper to several regularly but there must be lots we don't know about.

Interestingly I'm a local councillor so know the ones in my patch intimately (sadly too big to play on some of them and I swear they weren't that good when I was small!).
Your question prompted me to go link and I found the incredibly useful:

It includes maps telling you what age range the playground is for.

There is a really useful local site for this sort of thing - toddler's day out - which contains all sorts of listings of places to go with toddlers including activities, playgroups, nurseries and events.
