St. Albans Steam Show - Today

The St. Albans Steam Show, organised by the Hertfordshire Steam Engine Preservation Society, is on today at the Smallford Campus of Oaklands College.

We went out this morning to have a look at steam engines ranging from miniature trains to old fire engines. These really are lovingly looked after machines from the past - all polished up, fired up, and ready for their turn around the large show ground area at 2pm.

There were also antique cars and motor bikes on site, as well as stalls selling food, music, steam engine parts, collectible toy cars and more.

Entrance is £6 for adults, £3 for children and parking is free.
