Today's Summer Sounds Festival at Clarence Park managed to attract hundreds of people, primarily teenagers, despite being falling on the day of the British Formula One race at Silverstone and the World Cup Final.

Bands from St. Albans and Harpenden entertained festival goers throughout the day. Bands included Change of Plan, Conor Walker, Kristian Kiss, Kalazar, The Understated and 13

Riots.

The event was organised by the St Albans and Harpenden Youth Council, with support from Youth Connexions Hertfordshire and Leisure Connexions.
