One hundred and sixty copies of the Usborne Illustrated

Dictionary have been distributed by the Rotary Club of St.Albans to Year 6

pupils at several schools in the town to commemorate their leaving and moving

on to senior education. The dictionaries are part of a worldwide Rotary

literacy programme and were donated to pupils leaving Aboyne Lodge, Camp,

Cunningham Hill, Margaret Wix and Windermere schools.

Roger Talbot, President of the Rotary Club of St. Albans,

who made the presentations commented ” The dictionaries will serve them well

throughout their education and into their adult lives, leading them on a

journey of discovery and exploration of the world in which we live”.

Rotary is the largest humanitarian organisation of business
