Fines of £10 million for Buncefield Blast Companies

Five firms have been fined almost £10 million pounds in combined fines for their role in the Buncefield Fuel Depot blast, the BBC reports.

The 2005 blast, which mercifully took place early on a weekend morning so didn't directly lead to any deaths, woke people across the city and caused some damage to buildings and broken windows.
