Whilst thousands of revellers were watching England get trounced in the World Cup, St. Albans Festival was coming to an end with a great day of festival rides, music and performances.

Festival Rides in St. Peters Street
St. Peters Street was closed to traffic from Peahen Junction up to the taxi rank near Barclays for the duration of the day.
Audiences were treated to a selection of bands, both on a massive main stage in front of Barclays, and at a smaller stage in front of the entrance to Christopher Place. Both showcased a range of great performances playing every type of music imaginable.
From the entrance to the Maltings, down to Peahen Junction, were festival rides for everyone from small children to adults.
Attendance at the event was good, particularly taking into account the World Cup match in the afternoon, with many families enjoying having an alternative to cheering on England in front of a television screen on what was a gorgeous sunny day.
