More to life than shoes meet-up

A group of ten or so intrepid young women met up in Mokoko last night for cocktails and discussion of the important things in life.

The group http://www.moretolifethanshoes.com includes people setting up their own business, trying to make a business out of a hobby, trying to make time for themselves amid multiple commitments or just wondering what to do with their life.

Nadia (who set up the group) ran a discussion of the main issues that we're facing at the moment, and then we split off into smaller groups to discuss our ideas. I came back with lots of ideas and a interesting book about small business to read and review.

We also discussed Chi running and women's magazines, and the book about inspirational women that Nadia and Emily are writing. It was a great evening.
