Sunday evensong
The choir at St Peters is very good, and they choose interesting music for the evensong. There are sometimes new compositions as well as old favourites, and the hymns are not always the same ones.
I enjoyed Sunday evensong, which is at 6.30. The sermon isn't too long (!) and people are very friendly. I particularly enjoyed the time when the sermon was on Lord Tennyson. It was interesting and informative and had lots of poetry in it.
