great pub

this is one of my favourite pubs in the area. it is so relaxed and informal you just feel at home. in fact, it is almost like sitting in someones front room with a bar in. there are a few lovely window seats and also a large garden for when the sun is shining. highly rec. for anyone who fancies a few quiet drinks

    Best Pub in St Albans

       

    This is the best pub in St Albans. It's nothing and everything to do with decor, the garden, the food, the drink, the staff and the landlord - somehow it just all comes together to create something special. A great little neighbourhood pub with a loyal clientele. Book early for Sunday lunch - it won't disappoint!
