Traditional pub in St Albans
The White Lion is a great little pub on Sopwell Lane, in the heart of the Conservation area. It still retains all the feeling and features of a traditional pub - a dying breed, even here in St Albans where we are blessed with pubs a plenty. Well stocked bar, with luxury pork pies available as bar snacks. Plus, there's a much more extensive menu available, including roasts on Sundays. On Tuesday nights, it's burger night - two gourmet burgers, wedges and a bottle of house wine for £20 - sounds like a perfect night for me!
