After visiting Zizzi in St Albans on Saturday lunch time I can honestly say I will never return. It took 30 minutes before somebody took our drinks / food order and when the food finally turned up my pizza was undercooked to the extent the cheese had not melted and my girl friends advacado in her salad was dark brown! I can toletarte kids in restaurants but it was ridiculously noisy as they had a kids party slap bang in the middle of the restaurant and the constant screaming and crying was deafening, why not put a party like this in a corner? The service was slow and the waiter who served us although very polite looked embarrased at what he served us. I must have seen at least 3 tables of people just walk out. All in all the ambience was awful (imagine a play group where the adults have no control), food was undercooked / raw, and the service was no better than average. Perhaps in the evening this place is better but it seemed massively under staffed and badly run. Never ever again!

a great family italian chain restaurant with loively pizzas and salad. with the glass windows it gives you a good view of people going past.
to really get the most out of zizzi go online and try and find some of the extensive offers they have on.
with these offers it is good tasty food at low prices

An average priced family Italian restaurant. Their dishes are typically from £7 to £9.
For vegetarians, there are several options for both pasta and pizza dishes. However, all of the pasta dishes contain cheese! The only vegan options on the whole menu are olives or green beans!
Their website is impressive as it has both their menu, the prices, as well as allergen information about all food items.
