Small shop, huge range of jewellery.
The Shop on the Hill is a really small shop, but what they don't have in size, they certainly make up for in stock. This place has trays and trays of jewellery to choose from. Much of it is silver, and they stock a good deal of inexpensive trinkets as well more costly items. They also stock quite a lot of branded fashion jewellery. This shop is definitely at the top of my list if I'm shopping for jewellery for myself or for gifts in St Albans.

nice and small
the shop on the hill does offer a small choice of silver and gold jewellery. based next to the peahen, the small and intimacy of the shop means the staff are all very helpful,friendly and attentive. you are not standing around for ages wiating for someone to see and speak to you. good selection of gem jewellery in the windows
