Having spent over 12 years working as a carpenter, I’ve managed numerous different projects from installing kitchens to laying solid wooden flooring and fitting decking to putting up security fencing. I’ve also gained experience on both domestic and commercial sites.
As well as gaining on the job experience I’ve studied and qualified with the City and Guilds advanced craft certificate in Carpentry and Joinery in St Albans.
Being local to the area, I have good knowledge of the Wheathampstead, Harpenden and St Albans area and looking forward to discussing any new projects you may have.
Meeting your requirements
Before starting any job I will go over each project with you, ensuring your exact specifications are met, and delivered to the highest standards and quality. Where I think there is a different solution available that could either save you money, or provide you with a different option you may prefer I will offer my recommendations.
All jobs come with a written quotation so you can be sure you know from the offset what you can expect to be delivered and what to budget for.


Attention to detail
I take real pride in my work, and it’s one of the reasons I enjoy it so much. For this reason it is the quality of the finish and attention to detail that really matters. From start to finish you can be sure you’ll be happy with the end product. For example cleaning off sharp edges on doors, cutting in flooring under architraves and doorframes to ensuring all surfaces are smooth to the touch.


Service
It is important for me that every job I work on the customer is 100% satisfied. I will only collect my final payments upon your inspection of the completed job. In the event that after the work has been completed and you find a problem further down the line, then don’t hesitate to get in contact.


Clean
Carpentry can be a messy job with all that sanding and sawing. For each job I bring my own dustsheets to protect your house and make sure that when I finish the work, I’ll leave it in a tidy way.
